Statement of a case respecting a vow, with 12 ‘Questions which you are desired to answer’. By an unknown hand. f 168v: ‘A great case resolved & a poem on Ballcarres death.’ yet no resolution or poem is recorded within now. Includes in summary: ‘A Gentleman of good parts & sound understanding in all other respects, being of a Melancholy disposition, is much hurryed & troubled with suggestions & molestations, about sin & duty, especially under a burdensome scrupulosity & urgent reasonings one way & the other’
